Mined Vs Lab Grown

Step 4: Select the size of your stone

Some diamond shapes can come up larger than other so bear this in mind!

Your ring size can also affect which size stone you end up settling on! For Example; Dainty hands can make carats appear larger etc.

Step 5: Decide which colour grade

Diamonds are graded from 'D' which is Pure and colourless to 'Z' which is Light & Yellow in tone!

The difference between each grades can be unnoticeable to the untrained especially with 'Colourless' to 'Near colourless'

If you would like a perfect white & bright stone stay Between D-F colour ,G Colour is still exceptionally bright, it does carry a hint of warmth in tone but is a great alternative & a slightly better price point as it is near colourless!

Step 6: Lastly, Decide your clarity!

Diamonds contain inclusions which are internal blemishes, these can be dark or clear and can affect how clean a stone appears which also impacts price!

Clarity is a scale which measures this for you!

If you are looking for an ideally clean diamond with no visible inclusions, you should aim for Eye-clean VS Clarity & above!
